Ever wondered about the future? I certainly have, from flying cars, new cellphones, new computers, and of course, my destiny. I believe each person at some point in their lives, were uncertain about their future. I for one have, and to tell you the truth, my first weeks of college have been a true testament of that. As I entered college, yes, I was excited, but at the same time came the feeling of being on the spotlight. The homeworks, activities, new experiences, I think it all contributed to the feeling of being always under pressure. Moreover, I think the most significant thing here is that maybe sometimes, we're just to scared to grow up quickly. I remember when I was still a child, looking up to my bother and saying, " I wish I was already in college, so I could do the things I'm not allowed right now." But maybe sometimes we are wrong, things don't feel the way we expect them to be, the way we want them to be, and I think it somewhat puts me in a crossroads, between the roads of "then" and "now". But as I step upon the halls of college four times a week, I think I am slowly getting a better view of college life, and my life after it. I may be stuck between two roads, I may be under pressure in pretty much everything, but that doesn't mean I have to give up. As this school week ended, I realized a saying a friend once told me, " We may not be able to predict our future, control our destiny, but what I'm sure of, is that we, as an individual, can only be sure of one thing, and that is demanding and giving the best we have to offer."
A quote for the day:
" There is no try, only do, or do not." - Yoda

My second week in my INTRICT was pretty much normal, albeit exciting ones. This weeks topics were fun for me because it gave me a glimpse of my future. Watching the video clips presented, I was excited because it presented me the true potential of technology. Seamless integration, unlimited connectivity, it made me appreciate my course more. In the near future, I can honestly say that I believe ICTM professionals will be more demanded by companies because of their very flexible and efficient skill set. Most importantly, I think this week showed me the numerous possibilities the future has in store for me, and I think I can honestly say, I think I'm pretty much excited.
