First and foremost, thank you for visiting my blogspot. As a first time blogger, I don't really have high expectations for my blog. I tend to like things done my way, and I think sometimes, setting expectations that are so high up derail us from what we really want to achieve. My goal is not to make just a blogspot for the sake of it, I want to do something more personal, something believable, something real. This list, along with the first goal I mentioned, will be my visions, my goals for this webpage:
- To change the way present day blogs are viewed, as being only for people who have so much time on their hands, but as a hobby in which we gain insight, learn and communicate in a group of different and diverse range of people.
- Help others in general, my comments and opinions may not be always specific or right, but I remember a saying " Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does." It does not command us to be boastful, but have an inner confidence that we can, and we will help others in a way, big or small.
- As a project for my INTICT course, I will strive to let others see the beauty of technology. In our society today, I believe people don't appreciate technology the ways it's supposed to. Yes, technology is not perfect and has downsides, but does it really overcome the things it is able to do for us? And regarding technology not being perfect, is it really flawed? Or are we the ones making it be flawed?
- I want my blog to be gateway for communication, I think the real beauty of blogs doesn't lie in the numerous technological advances that made it in recent years, but it lies within the blog. The real heart of the matter, I think, is the communication and interaction it provides us.
- Simply have fun. I want to have fun updating my blogs and let others have fun as well viewing them. I want my blog to be a representation of my mind.
Venturing Into Space. I know that it is somewhat awkward for a title, but I chose it simply because it can represent many things in general. Life is an adventure, we cannot be certain of anything that may or may not happen to us. As I grew up, one thing I realized is the life is a never-ending cycle. I know some may think that death ends the cycle, but I'm looking at it from a different perspective. Do you remember the time we took our first steps in our kindergarten? I'm sure we all have. Think about it, as we completed our first official weeks of college, don't you realize that we just went through it all over again? Meeting our first friends, first day jitters, and most importantly an added perspective in life. As we embark into the different chapters of our lives. I'm sure everyone will go through this cycle all over again. Finally, in everything I've ever done, I guess I can compare it to traveling into space, what does it hold? I don't know for sure. Why do I want to do it? Sometimes I don't know. But what I am sure of, is that the journey getting there, achieving my goals, will be more important than the goal and space itself.
